Your grandmother’s favorite for good reason. This native perennial is a sunny workhorse for pollinators! Shh…these North American wildflowers are incredibly easy to grow! Cover your garden in these native beauties! I grow mine indoors, but you can simply sprinkle the seeds, press them into contact with the soil, and then thin them out.

They reseed easily, you just have to not disturb them.

Note that hirta has a short lifespan, 2-3 years, so be sure to allow for reseeding if you ruffle it.

Culture: No cold stratification is necessary. Direct sowing or starting indoors. Reseeds naturally.

Can be used in containers.
