Heliopsis heliantoides / Heliopsis false sunflower / False Sunflower

Heliopsis helianthoides looks great in clumps, with shorter blooms at the front. It can grow to 100-150cm tall. If your plants become sparse after 2-3 years, you can prune them back in early summer for more orderly blooms later in the season and into autumn.

The nectar and pollen from its flowers attract many insects, including honeybees, bumblebees, small carpenter bees, digger bees and butterflies.
