Schizachrium Scoparium / Andropogon scoparius / Little Bluestem

This native prairie grass is a winner for your dry, sunny garden. It becomes limp in rich soil, so it doesn't need to be fertilized. Great for xeriscaping. Once established, it performs very well! Like milkweed, it arrives later on the scene in the spring. Cut it back to 6-10 cm in the fall.
